UV Board Installation Steps

1.Gather tools and materials: UV boards, construction adhesive (such as polyurethane adhesive), a measuring tape, a pencil, a circular saw (with a fine-tooth blade), a level, a roller, and a clean rag.

2.Prepare the surface: Ensure the wall/ceiling surface is flat, dry, and free of dust and oil. Fill cracks with putty and sand until smooth; use a level to check for flatness-uneven surfaces may cause the boards to warp.

3.Measure and cut the UV boards: Accurately measure the installation area and mark the cutting lines on the UV boards with a pencil. Use a circular saw to cut along the lines (with the decorative side facing up) to avoid scratching the surface.

4.Apply adhesive and secure the boards: Apply construction adhesive evenly to the back of the UV boards (covering 80% of the surface). Align the boards to the marked areas, press firmly for 10-15 seconds, and then use a roller to eliminate any air bubbles.

5.Seal and clean up: Fill and smooth any gaps between boards with silicone sealant that matches the color of the boards. Immediately wipe away any excess adhesive or sealant with a clean, damp cloth. Curing: Allow the adhesive to fully cure for 24-48 hours before using the space. Avoid tapping or pressing the board during curing to ensure a secure bond.
