From First Generation to Third: What Changed
First-generation WPC cladding introduced the concept of wood-plastic composite to the exterior wall market - a composite panel that outperformed solid timber on moisture resistance and required less maintenance. The limitation was the PE surface layer: functional under moderate exposure, but not engineered for sustained outdoor UV load.
Second-generation products improved the WPC core formulation and surface finish quality. The PE surface remained the weak point.
Third-generation ASA co-extruded WPC replaces the PE surface entirely. ASA - acrylonitrile styrene acrylate - is a polymer with fundamentally better UV stability than polyethylene. Applied to both panel faces through co-extrusion during production, it creates a permanent, integral protective surface that does not degrade, deplete, or require periodic renewal.

UV resistance: ASA maintains color and surface texture under sustained outdoor UV exposure without the chalking and fading that affects PE-surface WPC.

Chemical resistance: resistant to acids, alkalis, salt air, and atmospheric pollutants - suited to coastal, urban, and industrial-adjacent locations.
Impact resistance: tough polymer surface resists scuffing, gouging, and surface marking from incidental mechanical contact.
Permanent bond: co-extruded directly onto the WPC core during production - not laminated or coated after. Cannot peel or delaminate.

Installation System
Hidden fastener clips fix to the subframe and engage grooved edges on both sides of each board - the panel face remains completely clear of visible fixings throughout the installation. Boards clip into sequence from base course upward. The system accommodates thermal movement without sealant or expansion joints across standard wall runs. On-site cutting with standard circular saw. Full trim accessory set for corners, edges, and junctions.
