ASA Co-Extruded WPC Exterior Wall Cladding
If you've worked with first or second-generation WPC before, you'll know the surface fading issue. A few years in a high-sun location and the color starts to shift - chalky, uneven, nothing like what went up on day one. The fix has always been ASA.
ASA (acrylonitrile styrene acrylate) is a different class of surface material from polyethylene. It doesn't rely on UV absorber additives that wear out over time - the UV resistance is built into the polymer itself. Co-extruded onto both faces of the panel during production, it becomes part of the board, not something applied on top. That's why we can back it with a 30-year outdoor warranty and mean it.
What You Get
The panel is a three-layer cross-section: ASA on the outside, high-strength WPC composite in the middle, reinforced hollow-section core inside. The WPC body handles the structural load - stiff, stable, doesn't absorb moisture. The ASA surface handles everything the weather throws at it.
Day-to-day, this means:
No fading or chalking under UV
No swelling or joint movement from moisture
No pest access - nothing organic at the surface
No maintenance schedule - wash it down occasionally, that's it
B1 fire rating across all profiles
Profiles and Sizes
Six cross-sections to suit different elevation designs:
220 × 25 mm - wide board, strong shadow line
214 × 22 mm - commercial scale
192 × 30 mm - deep section, pronounced relief
162 × 16 mm - mid-width, residential and commercial
112 × 16 mm - standard residential
120 × 12 mm - narrow contemporary board
Standard lengths 2.9 m and 3.0 m. Custom lengths available. Color range covers light ash through to deep charcoal - custom matching on request.
Installation
Hidden fastener clips, no face screws. The clip engages grooves on both long edges of each board and fixes to the subframe below - the wall face stays completely clear. Boards go up from base course to top in a straightforward repeating sequence. Standard circular saw for on-site cutting. Works with timber batten, steel stud, or aluminium rail subframe.
