Wood veneer, also known as decorative panel or panel, is a kind of decorative board that has been precisely sliced. This board retains the natural wood texture and is therefore favored by designers.
During the construction process, the installation order of the veneer is crucial. First, prepare the tools and materials required for the construction, including screws, nails, glue, etc. Then, determine the installation location of the veneer according to the design drawings and pre-install it. During the pre-installation process, ensure the flatness and verticality of the veneer to ensure the beauty of the final installation effect. Finally, carry out the formal installation, fix the veneer and ensure its stability. The entire construction process needs to strictly follow the operating specifications to ensure the construction quality of the veneer.
- First, according to the design requirements, use integrated boards to build the cabinet body, or prime the wall with wood boards to obtain a flat foundation.
- Next, the wood veneer panels are cut precisely to size and the edges are carefully trimmed to make them smooth and neat.
- Apply nail-free glue evenly to the position where veneer is needed and the back of the wood veneer, and then carefully fit the wood veneer to the cabinet or wall. During this process, use a hammer and a wooden block to tap lightly to ensure that the two are tightly combined.
- Perform trimming work: trim the excess wood veneer panel on the side until it is flat, then choose whether to perform veneer edging and polish it to a smooth surface, or choose not to perform edging and perform a 45° chamfer on the edge of the wood veneer panel.
5.Finally, after installation, the protective film on the wood veneer needs to be slowly peeled off to reveal its final beautiful effect.
